How to publish a Helicopter Seychelles video on your website

This page informs administrators of travel and media sites how to include our presentation video on their sites, using one or a combination of methods, such as Flash, Real Player, Media Player or Mpeg download.
Display a Flash video directly on a page

Our Flash presentation has been encoded for a minimum connection speed of 460kbps. This will work fine via any DSL connection, but will buffer via slower connections, such as 64k ISDN or 56k dial-up modems.

To embed a Flash video directly on a page, place the following code within your HTML code:

Display a Flash video in a popup window

To launch the same video within a popup window, using a text link or button, place the following code within your HTML code:

Display a Flash video within a popup window opened via an image link

An example of an image link which launches a popup window when clicked on and utilises Javascript to keep the code on your site to a bare minimum can be copied here:

Setting up the Flash version directly on your server

The various examples shown on this page can appear as if published directly on your website, while delivering the video via our server. If however you prefer to set up the Flash video directly on your server, please download the necessary files here:

Note: for slower connections, e.g. 56K modems or 64k ISDN lines, please use our Real and Media streaming option below.

Real and Media Player streaming

By utilising multi-bit-rate encoding, which automatically adjusts video quality to users best available bandwidth, our Real and Media combination provides optimal viewing quality to a large group of visitors. Generally either or both players are available to to most users on Windows systems. Occasionally, however, these streaming methods are subject to firewall blocking in company network situations.

The Real and Media Player clips have been encoded within the 28k through to 384k range and therefore stream at variable quality within these connection speeds.

To add a select menu to your page which enables users to choose between 3 of our helicopter clips and the 2 player options, copy the following code onto your page:

Mpeg download

The Mpeg format is the most universal option, which unlike other formats can be saved onto users computers and thereafter viewed with virtually any video player without special plug-in requirements.

The audio and video quality of our Mpeg's is also higher than other available formats, which makes this option suitable for fullscreen viewing purposes, such as exhibition displays and redistribution on CD or DVD media etc. The files are however relatively large and can take long time to download depending on users connection speeds.

Please copy the following link values to offer our Mpeg videos for download via your site:

Google Video

Google offers a method of embedding high-quality Flash versions of our videos directly on your site. The result is similar to our on-page Flash video method described above, except for the fact that the actual video files reside on Google's server. Please copy the following code to include a Google version of our latest presentation video on your site:

YouTube video

Similar to and also part of the Google conglomerate, the highly popular YouTube portal provides yet another method of placing our aerial videos on your website. However, YouTube videos usually require slightly more bandwidth than Google's and our own Flash methods, and may therefore require preloading to avoid buffering even for some DSL users. Yet, there is no noticable difference in quality.

To place a YouTube version of our presentation video on your site, simply copy the following code into your HTML document:
