Management Team
Headed by Captain Rick Dooley, the management team has extensive experience in aviation, thus, ensuring that the necessary operational experience is available to cover every demand. Each department has either a manager, or supervisor which facilitates communication and our weekly 'heads of sheds' meetings ensure the continuity of our operational standards. We are always pleased to receive your recommendations as you are part of our team and instrumental in helping us to achieve our vision for the company.

Pilots
Our pilots are selected internationally and have an enormous amount of operational experience ranging from VIP transfer to Search & Rescue Operations. The Flight Operations & Training Manager ensures that the highest training standards are maintained throughout the company, with company pilots being put through their paces periodically during Operator Proficiency and Line Checks. In order to ensure that pilots do not exceed their Flight and Duty limitations we employ a total of six pilots, thus ensuring operational flexibility and the safety of our operations.

Cadet Pilots
Helicopter Seychelles Ltd has employed four Seychellois cadet pilots all of whom are sent overseas to the Bristow's pilot training academy. After successfully completing this training they are put through an in house induction program requiring them to fly as second in command, under a senior pilot's supervision, prior to undergoing Operator and Line Proficiency Tests. We are very proud of the achievements of our cadet pilots. Presently, Captain Georges Sabadine has earned his PIC Wings and Cadet Pilot John Busanya is performing extremely well in his course. Look out for that Seychellois touch in the cockpit!

Administration / Reservations
This department is based at the Providence Head Office and ensures that all the I's are dotted and T's crossed. We have a total of seven trained passenger attendants covering the following posts:

Administration/ Accounts, Technical Assistant to Maintenance Manager, Ground Operations Manager, Training/ Personal Manager, Personal Assistant to MD/ Marketing & Reservations.

Planning is fundamental to success and this is where it all happens... Just ask and watch it happen!

Dispatch
Our dispatch team consists of five dedicated staff members who, while being trained passenger attendants, ensures that our helicopters arrive at their destination on time, every time! We have a wealth of experience in this department which is called on daily when dealing with international delays, bad weather, amendments to bookings and last minute requests, or walk in clients. The dispatch department is the nerve centre of our entire operation and nothing happens without the dispatch team knowing about it!

Passenger Attendants
Our four passenger attendants are trained to look after your safety and attend to your every need. On arrival at our kiosk you will be met and greeted in that special Seychellois way and made to feel right at home! Following your safety briefing feel free to ask as many questions as you like as it is our pleasure to introduce you not only to Helicopter Seychelles Ltd and your destination but the country as a whole.

Third Party Helicopter Attendants
We continually train helicopter attendants at all destinations serviced by Helicopter Seychelles Ltd, with the objective of improving our overall operational safety and to ensure that you receive the best service at all times. These helicopter attendants will brief you prior to your flight, complete your passenger manifest and provide you with a seamless transfer both to and from our helicopters.

Porters
Helicopter Seychelles Porters are always happy to help you with your luggage requirements and will assist in ensuring that you receive a safe and seamless service. All baggage must be weighed and our porters will take care of this for you, while ensuring the security and safety of your belongings.

Maintenance Team
Three highly experienced and internationally trained engineers attend to the maintenance of the helicopters! Our engineering team keeps our helicopters in 'tip top' shape and work tirelessly at providing us with helicopters to meet the demand. You will often see them working during the night for that early, unscheduled departure, or just taking time out for some tender loving care!

Our maintenance team work in accordance with JAR 145 requirements thus ensuring we meet the most stringent international standards.

Maintenance is done in house by our experienced and dedicated maintenance team, while major components are shipped overseas for repair or replacement. All spare parts are carefully monitored and manufacturer maintenance schedules complied with.

We pride ourselves on the appearance of our helicopters and helicopters are refurbished every three years so as to keep our 'ladies' looking slim and trim!

Quality Auditor
Mr. Greaves, HSL's External Quality Auditor, is tasked to audit the company's operations and engineering departments in accordance with JAR OPS 3 and JAR 145 requirements.

Mr. Greaves has done this every six months since 2001 and ensures we get it right first time out!!

It is largely due to his tireless efforts that we have been presented with the HAI Safety Operator Award and the fact that both safety and customer service have become synonymous terms throughout the company.

Hangar Attendants
Our hangar staff consists of four experienced and motivated staff members who form the backbone of our maintenance department. They assist the engineers in ensuring the cleanliness of our helicopters, while supporting operations during specialized work such as filming and under slung operations where they form an integral part of the ground support team. Hangar staff are all trained helicopter attendants and contribute positively towards the safety of our operations. They inspect and ensure that all safety precautions have been taken prior to dispatching the helicopter.

Praslin and La Digue Offices
We decided not to wait for you to come to us but rather establish offices on both Praslin and La Digue! Our four island staff are dedicated to ensuring you have a memorable flight, be it a transfer, scenic flight or just out to lunch. We have a permanent crew based on Praslin thus ensuring you receive a safe and effective service should you be spending your holiday in this vicinity.

Customers
We have had the privilege of carrying a number of various people from presidents to movie/ sports and pop stars and can only but hope you will be our next star!
