| Anse Bois de Rose |
The 380 steps long Anse Bois de Rose has coral stone formations and granite rocks
along the beachline. In a small house under Takamaka trees fishermen store
their fishing equipment. Usually before noon they return from the ocean with
their fresh catch. Huge granite rock formations divide Anse Bois de Rose into
two separate beaches, giving it the typical Seychellois beach look.
The best swimming spot is at the small pocket beach near hotel Coco de Mer,
where the sand is finer and a staircase leads to the hotel. Cousine and
Cousin can be seen in the distance.
