Aerial photography & Filming Since its inception in 1992, Helicopter Seychelles has been used to augment the marketing of Seychelles as a tourist destination through aerial photography and filming. All Helicopter Seychelles pilots have significant experience in both aerial photography and filming. The aircrafts are equipped with quick release doors and safety harnesses are available. Due to the sporadic nature of this kind of work, camera mounts, gyrostabilisers or any other specialised filming equipment are not kept by Helicopter Seychelles and are not available locally. It is essential to keep weight to a minimum by limiting the number of crew on board. This ensures optimum aircraft performance and the safety of the operation. The pilot plus two passengers is the maximum allowed. It is necessary for Helicopter Seychelles to obtain permission to perform aerial filming or photography.
